Ladies on the Links: An Afternoon of Connection, Confidence & Something New
There is something special about women gathering in a space where no one is expected to arrive as an expert - only with a willingness to learn, to connect, and to enjoy the experience.
On September 19, The Gilded Club welcomed our ladies to Forest Park Golf Course for Ladies on the Links, an intimate afternoon created to make golf feel approachable, social, and beautifully aligned with the TGC lifestyle.
Learning the Game Together
For alot of our guests, this was their first real introduction to golf. Together, we explored the fundamentals, practiced new skills, and gave ourselves permission to be beginners.
There were great swings, missed swings, plenty of laughter, and the kind of encouragement that makes trying something unfamiliar feel far less intimidating. It was never about playing perfectly. It was about showing up, learning something new, and becoming a little more confident with every attempt.
That is what The Gilded Club is about: creating opportunities for women to enter new spaces and experiences while feeling welcomed, supported, and completely at ease.
More Than a Golf Lesson
Although golf brought us together, connection remained at the heart of the afternoon.
Between lessons and time on the course, conversations unfolded naturally. Women laughed, encouraged one another, exchanged stories, and formed new connections against the beautiful backdrop of the greens.
The atmosphere was elegant yet relaxed, empowering yet joyful. Every thoughtful detail - from the setting to the gifts prepared for our guests - was chosen to make the women attending feel considered and celebrated.
A Personal Reflection
Each TGC event continues to remind me why I created this community.
The Gilded Club was born from a desire to offer women more opportunities to experience beauty, leisure, wellness, and genuine connection. It was born from my desire to escape reality. I wanted to create the kinds of moments that invite us to step outside of our routines, try something different, and build meaningful relationships along the way.
Watching women arrive ready to learn, laugh freely, encourage one another, and leave with a new experience beneath their belts made Ladies on the Links incredibly special.
These gatherings are about more than filling a calendar. They are about creating a life that feels rich in experience, friendship, discovery, and joy.
To every woman who joined us: thank you for trusting The Gilded Club with your afternoon. Thank you for bringing your warmth, your openness, and your willingness to try something new. You helped make this experience everything I hoped it would be.
