A New Kind of Social Club: Inside The Gilded Club’s Tennis Social

There is something special about walking into a room - or onto a court - knowing you are surrounded by women who are just as open to new experiences and meaningful connection as you are.

That feeling was at the heart of The Gilded Club’s inaugural tennis social: an afternoon designed to make trying something new feel beautiful, approachable, and genuinely enjoyable.

Women arrived in elevated tennis looks, ready to learn, connect, and step outside of their usual routines. Some had played before, while others were picking up a racket for the first time. Experience was never the requirement. Curiosity was.

More Than a Tennis Lesson

Led by a professional coach, the beginner-friendly clinic introduced guests to the fundamentals of tennis in a relaxed and encouraging environment.

The court quickly filled with movement, laughter, and women cheering one another on. Without the pressure to perform or already know the game, everyone had the freedom to learn at her own pace.

By the end of the clinic, several guests were interested in continuing with private lessons. For us, that was one of the most meaningful signs of the event’s success. The experience did more than entertain—it introduced women to a sport they could continue enjoying long after the afternoon ended.

Every Detail, Intentionally Chosen

The Gilded Club was created around the belief that thoughtful details can transform an outing into an experience.

Beyond the tennis instruction, guests enjoyed curated refreshments, genuine conversation, and time to create their own floral arrangements at the bloom bar. Each woman also received a signature TGC keepsake to commemorate the afternoon.

Professional photography captured the experience through individual portraits, candid moments, and group images - allowing guests to leave with more than memories.

The flowers, keepsakes, photography, and refreshments were not simply additions. Each detail was selected to make every guest feel considered, welcomed, and celebrated.

Come Alone, Leave Connected

One of the most important parts of The Gilded Club is creating spaces where women feel comfortable attending on their own.

You do not need to arrive with an established friend group. You do not need previous experience in the featured activity. You simply need to come open to the possibility of meeting someone new.

Throughout the afternoon, women introduced themselves, shared why they attended, exchanged stories, and discovered common interests. What began as a group of women arriving for a tennis clinic became a community taking shape in real time.

That is the kind of modern social life The Gilded Club is working to create: one where women can explore beautiful spaces, learn timeless activities, form genuine friendships, and always have something meaningful to look forward to.

“When Is the Next Event?”

As the afternoon came to a close, one question continued to surface:

When is the next event?

It was the clearest confirmation that The Gilded Club is meeting a real need.

Women are looking for more than another crowded outing or surface-level networking event. We want thoughtfully curated experiences that allow us to feel confident, feminine, adventurous, and connected. We want opportunities to step away from work and responsibility, get dressed, try something different, and enjoy the company of women who desire the same.

The tennis social offered a glimpse of that world—and this is only the beginning.

Next: Ladies on the Links

The next Gilded Club experience will take us from the court to the course.

Ladies on the Links: An Introduction to Golf is a beginner-friendly golf clinic designed to make one of the world’s most timeless sports feel welcoming and approachable.

Guests will enjoy professional instruction, curated brunch bites and refreshing beverages, meaningful connection, a signature TGC keepsake, and The Gilded Portrait Experience. Each ticket will include two professionally edited individual portraits, along with candid and group event photography.

No previous golf experience is required, and golf clubs will be provided for guests who need them.

You do not need to be a member of The Gilded Club to attend our events. Members, however, receive preferred pricing, early access, and additional club privileges.

Spaces are intentionally limited to preserve the intimate and personalized atmosphere that defines every Gilded Club experience.

We cannot wait to welcome you to the course—and into everything The Gilded Club is becoming.

Reserve your place for Ladies on the Links.
