Why I Created The Gilded Club

There is something quietly transformative about sitting around a table with women who inspire you.

Not because anyone is trying to impress one another, but because everyone arrived with the same intention—to be present, to learn something new, and to leave feeling just a little more connected than when they arrived.

Somewhere along the way, many of us stopped making time for that.

As adults, our calendars become filled with work, obligations, and responsibilities. We tell ourselves we’ll reconnect with friends “when life slows down,” but life rarely does. Before we realize it, months - or even years - have passed between meaningful conversations.

I created The Gilded Club because I wanted to build the kind of community I was searching for.

A place where women could step away from the pace of everyday life and experience something beautiful together. A place where trying something new felt exciting instead of intimidating. A place where elegance wasn’t measured by labels or status, but by curiosity, kindness, confidence, and genuine connection.

You’ll find us learning tennis at a country club one month, enjoying afternoon tea over mahjong the next, trying golf, attending polo matches, discovering hidden cafés, exploring beautiful hotels, and celebrating the simple joy of gathering well.

The experiences themselves are only part of the story.

The real magic happens in the conversations between activities. The introductions that become friendships. The encouragement exchanged between women who may have arrived as strangers but leave already planning the next event together.

The Gilded Club was never meant to be about exclusivity.

It was created to be intentional.

A reminder that friendship deserves to be prioritized.

That learning new skills doesn’t have an expiration date.

That beautiful experiences become even more meaningful when shared.

And that there is still room in adulthood to build a life filled with curiosity, elegance, laughter, and community.
